Comments: If you sow directly outside in the Fall the seed will not germinate until the second Spring as all seed requires the warm stratification first. Seed typically has a lower cut test than other Pinus species.
Germination info: Seed requires 60 days warm moist stratification followed by 90 days cold moist stratification.
