Comments: Usual minimum cut test 30 %. This is a seed in its waxy berry. This plant fixes atmospheric nitrogen. Seed is surrounded by a layer of wax. Salt tolerant. Wax used to make candles. You need to scarify the seed prior to sowing or stratifying to break down the waxy seed coat . This will allow the entry of water so the seed can cold stratify.
Germination info: Seed requires 90 days cold moist stratification.
