7,200-7,900 seeds/lb. . Some growers prefer longer cold moist stratification periods. Ambrolauri sources break bud 2 weeks later in the Spring and harden off 2 weeks earlier in the Fall. Growers inform us that placing the seed in running cold water for 2 weeks prior to stratifying greatly increase the seeds germination. There may be a material that needs to be leached out of the seed coat. Seedlings prone to damping off in the seedbed. |
