HOW TO USE THIS WEB SITE Welcome to our web page. We hope you find this helpful in learning more about the various seeds we sell. All our seeds are listed by genus, species, origin and variety (when applicable). You can order by email, fax, phone or mail. Please note we are still filling in seed information. If you need information on an item in our catalog that has not been included, please email us and we will advise promptly. Most importantly, we want to hear from you. Your comments on our web page are welcome, as is any information you might have about the many species of seed we sell. We rely on our customers for many of the growing tips as well as plant details. VIEWING THE CATALOG - Click on view the catalog. Three options appear for finding and viewing seed details. REMINDER: For specific information on a particular seed, click on that seed and seed specific details will be shown in a pop up box. These values are for comparison only and no warranty is expressed or implied. SEARCHING FOR SEEDS* - This is a tool you can use when you know what you want but not the specific seed to fit your needs. Choose one or several required characteristics and then click on submit. All seeds in our catalog that meet your requirements will be listed. For example, if you choose “cold hardy to zone 3, native plant, evergreen, used as a Christmas tree, blue needles,” you will be shown a list of seeds meeting these requirements. You can then view seed-specific details of the chosen seed by clicking on the species. When done, you can go back to search for seeds and choose new characteristics. This tool of our web page takes the longest to load and the longest to process but can be a big help. REVIEW FOR SEED SEARCH: (1) Choose the required seed or plant-specific details. (2) Click on search. (3) All catalog listings for that seed will appear. You can view seed-specific details by clicking on the seed species. You can click back, change a characteristic and try again, or go to a different area of the web page. *Please note: We are still inputting information. Search results may not list all applicable seeds. REQUESTING A CATALOG - A catalog can be requested by clicking on request catalog and completing the form. A catalog will be mailed to you. We do not sell email addresses or mailing addresses of our customers or those who request catalogs/newsletters from us. TERMS AND CONDITIONS - You must be on line to view the Terms and Conditions for purchasing seeds or you can find inside the front cover of our printed catalog. Please take a moment to review these. All orders are shipped at prices prevailing on the date of shipment. We will be happy to answer any questions or respond to any comments you have. Seeds are sold without warranty, expressed or implied, as to description and productiveness. Please note: Any information presented in our web site or catalog is for comparison purposes only, and no warranty is expressed or implied by the values we show. CURRENCY CONVERTER - You must be on line to view the Currency Converter, which is provided for convenience in estimating the cost of seeds in your own currency. Choose the currency you want to convert from (left side) and the currency you want to convert to (right side), then click convert. The rates quoted are an approximation only, and we cannot guarantee that the conversion rates for buying in U.S. dollars or paying by credit card in U.S. dollars will match the rates quoted. NEW SEEDS - Additions to the Catalog from 1997 to the present are listed here. Choose the year you are interested in and a list of all the new seeds we started selling that year will pop up. Click on the species name to get seed specific details other than the seed prices. BOOKS - Particular books are offered as a source of helpful information for seed propagators as well as plant enthusiasts. We recommend both books Number 1 and 2 for an in-depth review of plant characteristics and propagation.
